iPad VRLink

The elegance and ease of using an iPad made it a logical choice for a product presentation tool.  The iPad is the perfect compliment to the robust order entry tools in VRLink.  The ultimate solution was merging the power of both… we modeled (meta tagged) our clients’ catalogs so customers and sales reps could browse the catalog and select the items they liked for a closer look  with detailed information and available to sell quantities… then adding the selected items to an order.

The VRLink for iPad system, first released in 2012, has proven to be a great productivity tool as well as an elegant presentation tool.  It gives the sales representative a fast and efficient way to write orders when in a sales meeting while also providing excellent product and catalog visibility for the customer.

Catalog Home Page

It begins with a beautiful home page where catalogs can be viewed while building the order in real-time as the customer decides what they prefer, what they can afford, and how the order should be customized.

Orders managed by Availability

The sales rep can see availability of each product so as to minimize out-of-stock situations while also being able to plan as depletion and replenishment of inventory occurs.  Availability is accessible from all of the many ways product can be selected in the app.

Filters and Searches

Products can be instantly filtered by a variety of categories as defined by the data we receive from corporate.

A smart search field is handy for both product code lookup as well as description searching.

Size Run Interface

Our proprietary “Size Run Interface” allows for quick access to relevant product information, availability, order customization, discounting and whatever business specific rules may be needed to eliminate the guesswork some reps may experience on less customized systems.  The Units overlay allows the user to quickly "tap" the quantities the customer desires... a 1-2-2-1 size scale can be done with just four taps!

Customizable Layout Boards

The Virtual Board interface provides for management of multi-page visual presentations that the user can build, present, and email to the customer.

Along the left side are individual presentations, or boards, with descriptive names.  When a presentation is selected, the right side of the screen shows thumbnails of the pages in the presentation.

User Customization

Selecting an individual page presents it for full screen editing.  There are features to help the rep align and label  products on the page in the way they require, with minimal tapping and rearranging.
